  1. Yankee Stadium and the New York Yankees are synonymous with baseball. It will be both exciting and sad to watch the very last All Star Game in the legendary Yankee Stadium. Experience history in the making and take advantage of all MLB.tv has to offer. See the ghosts of Yankee stadium during an All Star game one last time! Go JETER, A-ROD, and RIVERA! Go American League!

  2. I have been a die hard Red Sox fan for nearly three decades and although I hate the Yankees, Yankee Stadium definitely has magic and is a special place. The All Star Game is the one day Yankees and Sox fans put their differences aside and root for the same team. MLB.tv is excellent. I have the yearly package, but if someone wants to check it out, for $2.95 this is the best time. Go Ramirez, Go Youkilis, Go Pedroia, Go AL!

  4. Thanx for the tip. I figured for less than 3 bucks what the hell right, I’ve got nothing to lose. Well the coverage is awesome–last night what a DERBY! Hamiliton was on fire. I’m watching the coverage right now. This is the end of traditional cable. If it wasn’t for the allstar game and MLB.tv I wouldn’t have known how great these unique dot tv’s are.

    Great Blog. Greatter Information!
GO AMERICAN LEAGUE. Make it 13 straight.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. What a great game! The American League should have won that game a few times. Thank god they pulled it off in the 15th. What a great way to send off Yankee Stadium for the last All Star Game. I couldn’t believe the pitching and the coverage I signed up for on MLB.tv was great! Next year I’m going to get the package so I can watch all the games I want.

  6. My boyfriend has the MLB.tv premium package and he can watch up to six games live at the same time on his computer–he’s a freak. That package was $69 and includes over 2000 games. We watched the all star game together on MLB.tv–his desktop is hooked up to a flat screen tv–and although the quality was great, I thought the game was kind of boring? And why did they take A-Rod out so early?

  7. It will be interesting to see how MLB.tv covers the playoffs. Are they even allowed to carry the playoffs?

Anyway, this year the Yankees better do it! This is the last year at the house that Ruth built–they better bring down the house and WIN a god damn world series again. I’m sick of disappoints–especially in 2001 after September 11th. How could they not win? In fact, I don’t understand how the Yankees don’t win every year. 2008 must be the Year of The Yankees! Go Yankees!! Boston doesn’t suck they are a good team, but they are a bunch of MASSholes and I hate them.

  8. I don’t think the Yankees are going to do much of anything this year barring a miracle. Injuries destroyed them. I’m sick over it. Maybe they’ll make a little run for the wild card—they still have time. Anyway I’ll take anybody winning over the Boston Massholes.

  9. North America’s equivalent to the Roman Coliseum and arguably the greatest stadium/arena in all of sports has officially closed its doors. Farewell Yankee Stadium! You will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. It is a real tragedy the Yankees didn’t make it to their 14th consecutive post season, but we forgive you—you just better win the World Series your first year in the New Yankee Stadium. Next years Yankee games on MLB.tv will hopefully prove to be exciting!
